Quick Start Guide

After registering you will be allowed to enter one team into each of the Hurling and Football Fantasy Games. Our Fantasy games have been designed to be easy to join and play. To be a successful hurling or football manager does, however, require a degree of skill in team selection and in the use of player transfers. Have you got what it takes to be a top manager?

How to Play

Register with a valid email address
You should receive an activation code via email - if you do not receive your activation email please check your spam folders before contacting us. Click on the link within this email to activate your account.
Click on the Let me in link on the activation confirmation screen
Enter your fantasy team name, select whether you wish to first enter a hurling or football team and click Save
To select players hover over an empty jersey and click PURCHASE or click PURCHASE from My Team Data column under the relevant position
Select the county the player you want plays for, or search for a player by name
Click the Buy button and confirm that the player you have selected is correct
You must purchase at least 15 players to register your team, with 5 optional substitutes
You have a budget of €100 million
You may purchase only 10 football players per county or 10 hurling players per county
Hovering over a player on the pitch, or clicking the player's name in the My Team Data list will show details about a player
To substitute a player, drag the player from the pitch to MY BENCH or click the SUB OFF link under a player's details
To sell a player, first sub him off then click SELL
Because of the use of Web 2.0 technologies all updates to your team happen without the page having to refresh
To allow you to get your team right you have an unlimited amount of transfers while choosing your initial team
After selecting your initial team you must register your team by clicking on the REGISTER button. Your team will not score any points or be included in the leaderboards until you register your team
You will be allowed one transfer per week and unused transfers cannot be carried over to the following week
Once you have completed a football or hurling team you can create another fantasy team for your unused sport by clicking on the "Add Another Team" link and repeat the same process

Mini Leagues

Creating a league

Enter the name of the league and set the password. You may create a maximum of 10 leagues.
Select the Sport
Click Create!

Joining a league

Enter the League ID and password
Select the team you want to enter into the league. You may enter any of your fantasy teams into up to 10 different Mini Leagues.
Click Join!

Maintenance

Your leagues will be displayed in the Mini Leagues section
Leagues are displayed as leagues you manage and leagues you are a member of
The manager of a league can change the password and starting date of a league by clicking the relevant Details button
The manager can also invite friends to join the league
- Click the relevant Invites button and enter up to 10 email addresses with an optional message and click Send
- Your friends will receive an email with the details of how to join the league
