Selection Tips

  1. Remember your budget. The scoreboard above the pitch on the management screen shows you how much funds you have available as you pick your team. Your teams depend on the performance of all players in your starting line up: 1 Goalkeeper, 6 Backs, 2 Midfielders and 6 Forwards. A solid defence can be just as important as a goal scoring front line. Try and budget for a strong all-round team.
  2. Before registering your team write down your player selections and make sure you are within the €100 million budget. When a valid team is chosen enter your team online! Rushing registration can lead to wasting your valuable transfers.
  3. Use your transfers wisely. Players will undoubtedly get injured or suspended throughout the Championship, if they aren't playing they're not scoring so transfer them out and make a new addition to your squad.
  4. Substitutes are important. You can make unlimited substitutes throughout the season and having a twenty-man squad increases scoring opportunities by letting you change your starting 15 in line with up-and-coming fixtures to maximise scoring potential when you are out of transfers.
  5. All-Stars may help boost your points, but try searching for a bargain. Study players National Football League form and try and pick up some point-scoring bargains. Research can save you Millions!
  6. Forget your County loyalty. For the football competition a maximum of 10 players are allowed from any one county or for the hurling a maximum of 10 players are allowed, you should pick your players based on who will score the most points. Remember, it is your final team's league position you are competing for, and no points are awarded for your County loyalty!
